Ongoing Activities ISOC Board Meetings: Members who wish to become more active in the ISOC are welcome. Please contact us info@irishsocietyofcharlotte.org for the next meeting date, time, & location. ISOC News Letter: The ISOC news letter is published monthly to inform members of ongoing activities, upcoming events and other information related to the society. Book Club: The Irish Society Book Club meets monthly to discuss Irish literature. ISOC Library: Members may borrow books without charge from our library of Irish books. An inventory of the books will soon be placed on our website. Contributions of books to the library are appreciated. ISOC Monthly Socials: The ISOC have monthly socials that are informal and offer a variety of entertainment including live music, good sing-a-longs, table quizzes, Irish dancing, great conversation, and more! Members are encouraged to bring guests to these socials to introduce them to the ISOC. Many of our most active members have learned of the ISOC in this manner. Ceol na Gael Irish Pipe Band: The Ceol na Gael Irish Pipe Band always welcomes new drummers and pipers, experienced or not, to join the only Irish Pipe Band in the Carolinas. Charlotte Gaelic Football Club: The Football Club is open to all members of the community who want to play, cheer on the teams, or partake in the year's social events.
